[FIX] MSVCR100.dll/ MSVCP100.dll missing after Windows 10 upgrade
Then go to this directory and look them up. Windows.old is only available for a few days after the upgrade, so you may not be able to find it.

5. Sony PlayMemories home delete
Users have reported that the DLL file has disappeared due to PMBVolumeWatcher.exe process.
After some investigation, users discovered that this application is linked to Sony’s PlayMemories Home application.
To solve the problem, users recommend removing this application from your PC completely.
To do this, we highly recommend using an uninstaller like IObit Uninstaller Pro to make sure that all related files are removed.
Once you have withdrawn the application, the problem should be resolved. If you use Sony PlayMemories Home often and don’t want to uninstall it, reinstall it or upgrade to the latest version and see if that solves the problem.
6. Performing an SFC scan
- Press the Windows + X key to open the Win + X menu.
- In the results list, select the command prompt (Admin). (If the command line is not available, you can use PowerShell (Admin) instead).
- When the command prompt opens, type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
- The scanning process is now underway. The SFC scan can take 15 minutes or more, so don’t interrupt it.
If an SFC scan cannot resolve the problem or if you cannot perform an SFC scan, you should perform a DISM scan instead. Follow the steps below to do this:
- Open a command prompt as administrator.
- When the command prompt opens, type the following command and press Enter : DISM / Online / Cleaning up the image / Restoring health
- Scans can take 20 minutes or longer, so don’t interrupt them.
Once the DISM check is complete, check if the problem persists. If you were unable to run an SFC scan before, be sure to do so after the DISM scan to see if it solves your problem.
Does the CVS process stop halfway? That’s what we have to do to get through it.
